Our debt recovery process
1. Initial Review – We assess your case, confirm the strength of your claim, and advise on the best course of action.
2. Letter Before Action – A formal demand is sent to the debtor, often prompting early settlement without further action.
3. Legal Proceedings (if required) – If no Acknowledgment of Service or Defence is received, we can apply to the court to enter a default judgment.
When default judgment is obtained, we will write to the other side to request payment.
4. Enforcement – If payment is not received within seven days, we can assist with enforcement options, including:
- Bailiff or High Court enforcement
- Charging Orders
- Attachment of earnings
- Statutory demands and insolvency action

We offer transparent and competitive pricing tailored to your case.
The rates detailed below are in line with the Solicitors Regulation Authority’s guideline hourly rates for Worcestershire and remain competitive when compared with similar firms in the area:
Hourly rates:

| Solicitors/Legal Executives/TEPs with over four years’ experience | £240/hour |
| Other Solicitors/Legal Executives and Fee Earners of equivalent experience | £200/hour |
| Trainee Solicitors/Paralegals | £142/hour |
All of the above prices are subject to VAT @ 20%.
We offer a £150 fixed fee for initial advice.
